PreCollege St. Gallen
The St. Gallen Music Center looks back on a long, traditional and eventful history.
A lot has changed since it was founded in the 1960s. What has remained is the demand for a high level of musical education for our students.
In the three faculties of classical, jazz and folk music, around 40 qualified teachers teach all levels from beginners to prospective music students and all of this in a prime location in St. Gallen train station.
Significant funds from the Migros Culture Percentage enable us to provide an attractive and diverse catalog of subjects every year.
The PreCollege St. Gallen offers comprehensive preparation for studying music and accompanies the participants in the fields of classical music, jazz-rock-pop or folk music in a targeted manner up to the entrance examination at a music college.
The St. Gallen Music Center runs the course on behalf of the non-profit foundation “St. Gallen Music Academy”.
