The PreCollege Music at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) is the ideal springboard for young musicians embarking on a career in music studies. Located within one of Europe's leading integrated art schools, it offers in-depth training in the fields of classical music, jazz, pop, composition, school music, music & movement, church music, and sound engineering. Young students benefit from highly qualified faculty, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and direct links to regular university studies. The flexible and modular curriculum allows for individualized tailoring of the subjects to the needs and goals of the young students.
A special feature is the lived peer-to-peer approach, which complements regular classes and specifically promotes exchange between young students, current students, and alumni. Through joint modules, ensemble projects, podium discussions, and other exchange formats, an inspiring community is created in which young musicians support, challenge, and enrich each other artistically.
Located in the Toni-Areal, the vibrant ZHdK campus, the PreCollege offers a unique environment full of creative inspiration.
