Tineke Postma is a Dutch jazz saxophonist and composer known for an innovative approach to jazz - and the ability to seamlessly combine traditional and modern elements. In the early 2000s, she quickly established herself as a prominent figure in the European jazz scene. Throughout her career, Tineke Postma has released numerous critically acclaimed albums showcasing her virtuosity and unique voice as a saxophonist. Her compositions often feature a mix of melodic beauty and complex improvisation and have earned her a loyal following among jazz fans worldwide.
Tineke Postma is developing a specific concert program for and with the DKSJ Orchestra, an association of jazz students from various Swiss jazz universities, for this concert in the multitrack - and other concert evenings in Lucerne, Bern, Basel and Lausanne.
